Naturally occurring plasma is used to rejuvenate skin by stimulating collagen production through microneedling.

Have you heard of the “Vampire Facial”? Here at Vissia, it’s not as scary as it sounds.

The plasma facial (aka PRP facial) procedure uses your body’s naturally occurring platelet-rich plasma (PRP) found in your blood as an anti-aging and skin rejuvenation agent. The treatment utilizes the plasma to create a fibrin matrix.

When administered via micro-needling, it stimulates your own body to produce naturally occurring collagen to smooth wrinkles and fill the areas where volume is needed, as well as rejuvenate the skin.

A small amount of blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge where blood cells are separated from the plasma and platelets. PRP fluid has a higher concentration of platelets which is placed on the skin. A microneedling device is then used to drive PRP fluid deep into the layers of derms.

PRP promotes new collagen to form and regenerate tissue and blood vessels to reduce signs of aging.

This 100% natural procedure firms and tightens skin, enhances skin tone and texture, improves moisture retention, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Frequently asked questions

What is a 'Dental Grant'?

A 'Dental Grant' reduces the cost of your dental work by up to 30%.

Dental Grants are deducted directly from the cost of your treatment plan and help to bridge a financial gap that makes it easier to commit to treatment.

How Long has this Program been Available?

This program has been available since 2015.

What if the Grant doesn't Cover enough to make my Treatment Affordable?

If the Dental Grant is not sufficient enough to make your procedure affordable, you can ask about our financing options.

How much will I need to Cover after the Dental Grant is Applied?

The Dental Grant is up to 30% of the cost of your treatment plan. You would be expected to contribute as a co-payer toward the balance of your treatment.

Your payments can come from an insurer if you have an applicable insurance plan from your employer, or from your personal financial resources such as a credit card or savings account.

Is this Program only Available to those with less Money?

No. The goal of our Organization is to encourage people to invest in the health of their mouth and teeth, irrespective of their financial circumstances.

In fact, most people that utilize a Dental Grant come from middle or upper middle socioeconomic groups and have been putting off needed dental work due to busy schedules and other priorities.

A Dental Grant encourges at-need people to re-focus their priorities and put their oral health goals more in reach.

Can I get Competing Quotes from other Dentists?

Even though most dentists charge similar rates for the same kind of dental work, your best interests come first so we will do our best to make sure your Grant gets applied toward a treatment plan from a participating dentist that is the same cost as any other quote you receive, provided the quote is based on the same kind of dental work being performed, with the same quality materials.

Do participating Dentists inflate their fees?

Of course not. Dentists that participate in our program do not automatically increase their fees when quoting prices to Grant Applicants.

If a dentist's fees are above his or her regulator's recommended guidelines, then he or she is obligated to inform you how much they bill over their guidelines, upon which you have the right to consent or refuse treatment.

Often, when a dentist bills over their guidelines, they will provide you with reason(s) why.

How can I pay the dentist for the part of the treatment not covered by the grant?

You may pay the dentist for your portion of the treatment using any usual method of payment such as credit card, debit card, private insurance or cash.

You may also qualify for funding subject to your consumer credit history. Click For Details.

You may NOT be able to use government sponsored forms of payment. Ask for details.

Why doesn't the Grant cover 100% of my dental cost?

The Dental Grants Program is explicitly designed not to be the sole source of payment as there is an expectation that a candidate co-invests in their long-term oral health.

A candidate is expected to co-pay for their treatment through some combination of credit, savings or benefactors' help such as a parent or guardian.

Even the majority of Government grant programs, such as tuition and business grants, require the recipient to co-invest in their education or business start up.

Is the Dental Grants Progam meant to help Dentists Market themselves?

The Dental Grants Program provides dentists with an opportunity to gain new patients that otherwise would not have known about them, in the hope that the patient is satisifed with their service and continues to come back for ongoing treatment, such as cleanings, on a regular basis.

Satisfied patients may also recommend the dentist to their friends and family members.

How is the Dental Grants Program Funded?

The Program is funded by the participating dentists all of whom cover grants, advertising, and administrative costs.

At present, there are no other outside sources of funding.

What if I cannot afford Dental Treatment and/or I'm in Pain?

There are many government sponsored programs that can cover emergency, basic dentistry needs such as fillings for toothaches and extractions for broken teeth.

Check with the local or regional government agencies in your area for information and options.
